It's set up to take Cementee 2552 nibs. The ergonomics of the holder fit my hand well and the balance is spot on.  How I write is another matter entirely (hint: like an arthritic three-legged spider).

Erm... I tend to be a bit shy about talking with people of high skills and education.  And I was also badly put off by one maker, which did not help at all.

Please don't be shy talking to makers - penturning is not rocket science!  If they're not willing to help or advise you, then simply find someone else; it's definitely their loss not yours.  I've stopped taking custom orders recently, but I'm always willing to talk to customers and try and help them as best I can.  Finding the perfect pen for someone is very often a two way process, so don't feel shy about asking questions.

Anyway, your new holder looks lovely.  Chris makes some fabulous pens.   :)

And... I've just been super lucky to be able to acquire one further holder from @melanie jane of EnglishPenCrafts.  I've hankered after an organic looking ergonomic holder for a while, and getting one made of Yew wood re-connects me with my dear old England.

Just got to go and fidget by the mailbox for a couple of weeks now!

My humble little collection.  This should do me for quite some time, methinks.
