IAMPETH 2015 & 2016 Announced

For those of you not at the convention or following news on facebook, Dr. Joe Vitolo just made this announcement. Portland 2016 is looking especially fun for the designer/calligrapher

Newbie question: Do you get to see much of the city during IAMPETH? I know you could skip some events, but I'm curious how much time people typically spend seeing the area when they go?

Theresa, I'm counting on you to keep me OUT of PIA, or at least to control my spending when I'm in there!  I adore their catalog, website & customer service!!!  I could wreck my budget in one trip!

What I know of the convention is that the class rooms or the convention halls are open till 11pm so that people can sit and practice. There might be time, but I guess many of them stay in the hotel sharing their work and meeting up.
It's just a guess though, the ones attending this year can answer better.

i saw nothing of indy and only left the conference area to eat meals with other peeps. in todays class i literally ran down to chipotle with schin and we grabbed food to go and came back to our classroom. im telling you iampeth is like a calligraphy heaven and candy store and you dont want to leave AT ALL!

and as for 2015...i would not miss it for the world...its on like donkey kong!  i am mainlining the iampeth koolaid and i love it!

@Mollybelle:  I saw the schedule in February.  The website says that IAMPETH members get the first shot at the classes.  When I was looking in late February/early March, some of the classes were already full!

This year's registration packets went out in February (I think) and registration opened for members on March 15th.
