Hi Eric, welcome! I love playing with watercolor too, so easy and they make up a beautiful array of colours! :) My favorite nib is Nikko G, too, it's so easy to use! Do you mind telling me how you use acrylic paint in calligraphy, though? I wanted to try it but I was unsure how to create the correct consistency :x

I'm so new to calligraphy but I've been learning a lot online! I watched Erica's videos (thanks Erica!) and applied them here. The Gatsby effect was really fun to make! It still looks amateurish to me but I'm pretty happy with the result. Hoping to improve in the future :)

I always get INTJ too, and whenever I read the descriptions they suit my personality almost perfectly haha!  ;D

I'm 20, turning 21 by the end of this month! Haha I have a bacelor's degree in nutrition which I don't really enjoy, but that was a consequence of choosing a major at 16. I'm leaving for NYC to study graphic design which I do love  ;D

Hello everyone!

My name is Jessica and I'm from Jakarta, Indonesia. I studied in Melbourne, Australia, for my bachelor's degree and am about to head to NYC in August to study graphic design. Excited!  ;D

I started learning calligraphy only two weeks ago, and I absolutely fell in love with it! I started obsessively searching anything regarding calligraphy since and naturally found this forum. I found this forum to be highly supportive and educational, and I am excited to be part of it! Looking forward to learning so much from all of you!   :)
