I just joined the guild, and they offer some great workshops (I just attended a gilding one this past weekend, and am still swooning over all the gold ).

Introductions / Hello from Toronto, Canada!

Hi Everyone,

My name is Priyanka Rego, and I live in (right now, freezing) Toronto, Canada. I've been dabbling in calligraphy for many years but decided to get serious about a year ago. I had quit my job (it will be two years in April!!!) in finance and decided to do some soul searching, because the thought of being part of the rat race from now until forever was getting incredibly anxiety inducing!

So I went to calligraphy and printmaking (which I also love and practice as much as possible!). There doesn't seem to be much of a support group for calligraphy up here in Toronto, so I'm so happy to join this forum (thanks Erica!). I've also just joined Iampeth and thinking about attending the convention this year.

I started a company called Paper Trails Design Company in October last year, and so far it's been so liberating, challenging and fun

Looking forward to participating on these awesome threads. But for now, I've got a lot of reading to do! There's some priceless information on here!!
