It's a Vintage nib and sadly, @JanisTX - you may not be able to find any.  :-\

I really loved the 357 when I was getting started writing ES, however, I have felt that they are quite tinny the last few years. Do you agree with that, @Erica McPhee?

Beautiful work, Ken!

@Masgrimes I have been so fortunate in that I invested in a box of vintage ones about 15 years ago.  ;D So I haven’t purchased any more recently. Funny though - I haven’t used them for some time so I will have to dig them out.  :-*

@Erica McPhee A whole box! Awesome. You know, 15 years ago I hadn't even considered becoming a calligrapher yet. How time flies! Seems like we've been at this forever. <3

Seeing what people have said about the nib, and looking at what Mr Fraser posted, I went on to my second bestest friend (after Amazon) and there are several for sale on EBAY. The nib prices are fine, but the delivery is bloody criminal. $25 for a couple of nibs. The seller must be wanting to send $20 to help pay a fine, eh?  ;D ;D ;D

I agree too this nib is an special nib and it is in the category of fine writers. Just as Spencerian/ Gillottes 303/ or any other type as 303. Undoubtedly  this is one the versions of Easterbrook to an answer to  Josephs Gillottes 303ef ..
I have not yet tried the nib but I have few nibs somewhere  in my EASTERBROOK  collection already. I have many more to try and this is one of them in the list to try.

Ah, yes, invested is the right word. A good buy, but closer to 6 yrs., 9 months ago--time does indeed fly but not (thankfully) that quickly. Trot those boys out @Erica McPhee , and give 'em a workout. They're dying to be used. Your work is so good now, you can really get the most out of them.

Anyone ( @Cyril Jayant , @Mark T , @JanisTX  ) who would like to try one, just pm me your current address and I'll send you one, no cost. As @Ken Fraser said 7 years ago, given my age, I probably have enough to see me through.

As to whether the new ones are less good than the old ones, I can't say, @Masgrimes , as I have only the old ones, but if you would like a few old ones to compare, let me know (I have your address, of course).

WOW!
What an offer. I will pm you my address, but I live in the UK, however, I am more than happy to send you the coverage for postage.

Goes out to you this week, but may be slow to reach you, as mail from Atlanta is very slow. No need for postage--I have lots of international stamps that need using.
