I just found this and thought I'd share.

It's step by step instructions on how to make a mandala.

Hi,
I used Jane's instructions and came up with this about a year ago.  :)   She's truly a gifted calligrapher!  Not the best job in the world, but you get the idea!

Agnes, yours looks great!

I tried it last night, but I'm not forum savvy enough to attach the pic from my phone on here  :-[. The mandala was fun to try though!

Hi, Meredith,
Thanks for the nice comments.  I found another one I did that was better.  I hadn't scanned it into the computer, though.  :)
I think once you get the "hang" of it, they are alot of fun to do.  Just think of the possibilities for holiday colors, etc.

Can't wait to see what you came up with!

here's my first attempt from this morning.  i actually really enjoyed making this and learned a lot just from this first attempt.  totally going to do another!
i should have studied each step by step, but of course i just jumped in feet first...so i didn't have enough room for each stem.  and i used a Hiro 41, which was not a good choice.  next time i'm going to try a Hunt 101 or EF Principal.

thanks Meredith for posting this!!!

ps- i have no idea what i would use this for, but it is fun to make!
