I don't know if I'm qualified to give you any advice, InkyFingers - but I am seriously in love with the visible improvements in this just in the last few posts.  You are working so hard and it shows. This is starting to really look great.

I am beginning to understand the pen I use, the thick-thin and pressure ratio.  And, sometimes, multiple strokes is required to make a simple stroke looks good.  Still needed more practice to understand the instrument of choice.
