It's a great quote, one of the best from Dune.
I can't believe you haven't read it. I'd love to enjoy it for the first time again. Dune won a Hugo award and the inaugural Nebula award for a novel, the two top awards in sci-fi, in 1966. Herbert wrote five sequels, several quite good, but the original is tops. There is also a recent prequel trilogy, I believe. In rankings of sci-fi novels, Dune is always in the top ten, and may be the most sold of any of them. You'll find lot's of inspiration for possible portraits in this book too, Schin. Sting starred in the movie, which was okay, but the scope of Dune is so great, it's hard to condense for the big screen.
