After seeing Schin's "Then and Now" post, I was inspired to ask all of you about how long did you practice a day to get you where you are in calligraphy? Did you have a daily or weekly regimen? Has it changed since then?

Aloha I'm Merissa from Hawaii!

I'm so excited to be here with all of you. I found out about The Flourish Forum via the Besotted blog and just had to come and take a look. Now I'm stuck and have been wandering and absorbing all the informative posts for hours.

I fell in love with calligraphy after needing to dress up my snail mail, as I am also a fan of pretty packages and letters.

It's just amazing to come across a community of calligraphers willing to share freely, I'm feeling the love  and as a newbie (who needs to practice way more) I'm so encouraged and inspired by all of you. Erica you are a blessing and this forum that you started is a gem!
