Introductions / Hello from Switzerland!

Hi, I'm Monika (modernmonalisa), thanks for having me in the Flourish Forum. I'm glad to be here.
I'm a Mom to two angel girls, a passionate photographer, floral stylist, and a hopelessly romantic dreamer.
I've always admired intricately hand-written letters, whenever I came across one at an antiques market. Always wondering who they might have been written for, and how the recipient must have felt to receive such piece of fine art.
Learning Calligraphy has always been on my wish list, and now I've decided to finally give it a go. I'm aware that it will take a lot of practice to master this art, but I'm hoping that practicing will bring me some peaceful bliss into my hectic life, and it might become my new passion. One that fits in perfectly with my love of flowers and photography.
I'm sure I will find encouragement in this lovely forum, and I hope that will prevent me from giving up especially at the beginner stages.
