Hello from Singapore!

Hello everyone! I am Elaine and I am a Filipina but based in Singapore. I'm so glad I've found this forum I've been looking for a community of calligraphers to teach and give advise to a newbie like me. I am a lefty and starting to learn calligraphy which is very difficult to manage as it get smudges all over whenever I write.

I am an Admin Asst/ IT Admin/ HR Asst in a Financial Services firm. Yes, I am an all around staff  I have a son, 5yrs old and lives in Manila and I do miss him a lot. Grateful to have a technology which is much easier to communicate and to reach out.

I hope I get to meet new friends and to learn calligraphy with you beautiful ladies!

Welcome Elaine - calligraphy is the perfect mind relaxer after a day in IT. I used to work in high tech and my husband still does. Ugg need I say more. Hello! I'm from the Philippines and I have an aunt working in Singapore
Do you know any calligraphy store around singapore that sells Nikko G and Hiro 41 nibs? I'm planning to have my aunt buy it there  because they're elusive here.
