Is this still going on? I was just going through some notebooks and thought this might be a good word.  Please be kind, I'm new to this and am giving it my best effort.

Introductions / Hello from Boston

HI All,

I got into lettering and pens in general in a  BIG way at the beginning of June. I have trouble sleeping so I listen to ASMR when I fall asleep. A new channel had a man writing with a glass pen. Instead of lulling me to sleep, I became intrigued and ordered one the next morning. I've bought a bunch of fountain pens since then and set my sights on learning Spencerian.

I’ve found great comfort in putting pen to paper and even noticed my own chicken scratch beginning to improve. Most difficult part of that I’m finding is getting the sharp angular look of it that made me fall in love with it. So I practice no less than 30 minutes a day. It’s not not easy as I have a cat who is failing with thyroid and kidney failure and I’ve had to move back in with my father as he suffers dementia. So taking this up has been a godsend to me.

Aside from Spencerian, I really enjoy watching German calligrapher Peter Unbehauen, among others.

I look forward to my time here with you talented people.
